The Barton Boomstrut 44010 is expertly designed for boats measuring up to 20-25 feet in length, providing a maximum boom tip weight support of 6.3 kg (14 lbs). This innovative device works in conjunction with your existing kicker or rope vang to create upward lift on the boom, ensuring optimal sail shape even in light wind conditions.
The lightweight and low-profile design features resilient coated fiberglass rods, which flex under tension from the boom while lifting it when released. This helps to prevent the boom from falling onto the deck when the sail is lowered or the topping lift is removed.
