Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir
This durable reservoir is designed to hold hydraulic pump fluid essential for optimizing the performance of your marine trim tabs.
Usage Instructions:
- Regularly monitor the fluid level in the hydraulic power unit (HPU).
- Ensure the trim tabs are fully retracted; the optimal fluid level should be approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the reservoir (about 22 ounces).
- To refill, remove the Lexan cover and filler plug located at the front left-hand corner of the reservoir.
- Fill only with automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to ensure proper operation.
- Using incorrect fluid levels will not damage the trim tab system, but maintaining proper levels is essential for optimal performance.
