This versatile chain snubber is designed to relieve tension on your windlass while anchored and provides security for your chain on deck.

Ideal for various applications:

• Use the claw and line to snub the chain overboard and tie off to a cleat or samson post on deck, relieving tension from the windlass while at anchor.
• Secure the snubber on deck to hold the chain in your anchor roller and tie off on a cleat for peace of mind while underway.
• Attach the snubber to the chain in the anchor roller to relieve windlass tension by pulling back and tying it off securely.

Constructed from all T-316 stainless steel, this version comes with 12' of 1/2" 3 Strand Nylon featuring a professional eye splice. Always ensure the bitter end of the anchor chain is secure in the windlass while using the chain snubber.
