The Maretron FFM100 NMEA 2000 Fuel Flow Monitor provides precision fuel flow information to help optimize fuel consumption, which can lead to significant savings on operating costs. Utilizing advanced positive displacement metering technology, the FFM100 achieves accuracy comparable to expensive commercial vessel systems, all while being more affordable than existing recreational options.
One key advantage of the FFM100 is its elimination of flow conditioning components, such as straighteners and pulsation dampers, which are required by other flow meter technologies. Additionally, the FFM100 features true temperature compensation, with embedded sensors that account for temperature variations between returning and supply fuel, enhancing the reliability of fuel consumption calculations.
The FFM100 also identifies momentary reverse fuel flow caused by pressure fluctuations from the injection pump, ensuring accurate readings. Beyond fuel, this monitor can also measure other fluids, such as water and oil, with the appropriate flow sender.
