The Monroe 8130X offers a print speed of 5 lines per second, and has a smooth key touch. Unique to Monroe, the heavy-duty models are equipped with an enclosed paper roll (to protect from dust build up around the printer). Also included is an indicator lamp (making users aware of an active calculation), and an automatic total print above the tear off knife. Functionally, it has an independent memory that stores tax rates and allows for independent operation of multiplication and division. This enables the user to multiply and divide during addition and subtraction. The Monroe 8130X also has storage for a spare paper roll, as well as both a twin-spooled ribbon and automatic cartridge ribbon underneath the machine. This model is popular within casino cages and supermarket chains because of their ability to run 24/7 without failure. The Monroe 8130X has proven itself to outlast and outperform any other competing model available. Those who know, choose Monroe. --- We recommend using Monroe's AR12225 Premium Add Roll Paper Made From 20 lb. Bond Paper. For ribbon, we recommend Monroe P65M Super Saturated Ribbon Spools, a top of the line ribbon with rich printing ink and Monroe's True Red color.
