Purasan EX 12V Waste Treatment System

The Raritan Purasan EX Waste Treatment System is designed to meet all marine sanitation needs efficiently. Originally developed for freshwater lakes, the Purasan EX has become a popular Type I Marine Sanitation Device (MSD) for discharge into both salt and freshwater environments.

This system allows boaters to treat waste on-site during a flush, discharging treated waste directly into tidal waters. Its innovative design helps avoid the risks associated with holding tanks, especially when pump-out facilities are unavailable or malfunctioning.

Designed with boaters’ needs in mind, the Purasan EX features a flow-through system that connects the toilet to the tank and the tank to the thru-hull. Each flush introduces disinfectant that neutralizes waste while treated waste is expelled overboard seamlessly.

Improvements in the Purasan EX

Recent advancements include a high-speed macerator that breaks down waste effectively, ensuring optimal contact with the disinfectant. Users are required to purchase special tablets for continued operation, and a new control notifies when refills are necessary.

Further enhancing usability, the Purasan EX incorporates an air pump that simplifies system mounting and regulates the rate at which tablets dissolve. This system is compatible with nearly any marine toilet and operates with either salt or freshwater.
