Sika Aktivator-205 Adhesion Promoter 250ml

Sika Aktivator-205 is a clear, solvent-based adhesion promoter that enhances the bonding properties of various substrates. This product is designed to react with moisture, forming active groups that create a strong link between primers or sealants/adhesives and the substrate. It is specifically formulated for treating bond faces prior to applying Sikaflex and Sikasil products.

Features:

• Improves adhesion on multiple substrates
• Fast flash-off time for efficient application
• User-friendly with simple application
• Colorless for seamless integration

Areas of Application:

Sika Aktivator-205 is recommended for enhancing adhesion on non-porous materials such as metals, plastics, ceramics, and painted surfaces. For best results, consult manufacturer guidelines and conduct tests on original materials before application, especially on substances susceptible to stress cracking. It is designed for professional use only, and it is crucial to perform trials with actual substrates and conditions to verify adhesion and material compatibility.
