veKonvert NMEA 2000 Gateway
The veKonvert is a specialized NMEA 2000 interface that enhances the functionality of Victron Energy's SmartShunt battery monitoring system. It allows users to integrate battery and energy management data into their navigation displays, transforming them into sophisticated multi-functional displays.
Key Features
This device is designed to connect VE.Direct compatible devices, such as SmartShunt, BMV Battery Monitors, and MPPT Solar Charge Controllers, into NMEA 2000 systems without the need for a complex Cerbo module. This makes veKonvert a more affordable and straightforward solution for smaller installations that require essential electrical data on a multi-function display.
Boaters and builders prefer a streamlined dash or navigation area, so combining electrical data into the primary navigation display proves to be both practical and cost-effective.
Developed in collaboration with Victron Energy, the veKonvert leverages Victron’s proprietary VE.Direct data connectivity to deliver valuable NMEA 2000 data.
Now, it's possible to connect Victron solar panel controllers (MPPTs) and battery monitors to NMEA 2000 systems through the veKonvert interface.
Easy Installation
The installation is hassle-free; simply connect to the NMEA 2000 backbone and plug in the VE.Direct connector on the SmartShunt to display battery and electrical data seamlessly on your NMEA 2000 network!
